Former United States president , Barack Obama, has released a 30-track list of his favourite music for the year 2020. 'Essence', a song by Nigerian star Wizkid, featuring fast riser Tems, was included on the list. 'Essence' is off Wizkid's recent bodywork 'Made in Lagos', an album the singer delayed its release multiple times. The album was later released on October 30.   There was pandemonium in the Ada George area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Monday when a group of policemen stripped a bus driver, identified as Emenike, over alleged refusal to pay a bribe. The drivers in the area were said to have repeatedly lamented harassment by the task force and police officers, even as they protested against Monday’s harassment of Emenike.   By Aliyu Dangida— DUTSE A gang of gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, stormed Bosuwa village in Maigatari Local Government Area of Jigawa State and abducted the daughter of a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, and two other persons.  The bandits were said to have operated in Jahun Local Government, where they abducted a business mogul before proceeding to Bosuwa village. They headed to the former Speaker, Isah Zakari’s house, where they abducted his 25-year-old daughter Zainab Isah Zakari and one Sule Isah, aged 70. It was reported that efforts to rescue the victims by the policemen on duty were rebuffed, and one of them was killed by the bandits.   Oluwatosin Omojuyigbe The management of the Deeper Life High School on Monday suspended the principal of the school in Akwa Ibom State, Solomon Ndidi, over the alleged molestation of one of the pupils. The mother of the Junior Secondary School one pupil, Deborah Okezie, had in a Facebook video alleged that her son was starved, as well as molested by some senior pupils of the school. Okezie, who demanded justice for her son, said she had gone to the school sometime last month and saw that her son was a shadow of himself. Okezie noted that after much enquiry from her son, he alleged that the principal of the school moved him to the senior pupils’ hostel for urinating on his bed, adding that the senior pupils molested him by pushing their hands and legs into his anus and threatened to kill him if he reported to the principal or his mother.   A300-level student of the Department of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Gbenga Favour Olaoye-Akanbi, has committed suicide after he was allegedly duped by a forex trader, Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel (ESG). Family sources told SaharaReporters that Olaoye-Akanbi was discovered dead on Sunday after drinking poison. The 19-year-old student was said to have invested over N300 million belonging to his colleagues and friends in a business run by  ESG. Speaking to SaharaReporters, a friend of the deceased and an investor with the firm explained how they were duped. He said, "The investment is forex. The guy's name is Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel.   A faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers state has suspended Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation.  The development comes a day after the Isaac Ogbubula-led  caretaker committee of the party in the state suspended Magnus Abe , a former senator who has been at loggerheads with Amaechi.  The Igo Aguma-led led faction faction said the decision to suspend Amaechi from the party was taken at an extraordinary executive meeting presided over by Aguma in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital. Aguma, in a statement through Livingstone Wechie, his media adviser, said the APC had written to the Rivers State Electoral Commission (RISIEC) to declare its readiness to partake in the forthcoming local government election in the state.
